CLEARANCE EDITIONS EXPLAINED

We are thrilled to be able to offer the 2nd edition LLATL books to you now that LLATL USA have given us permission to do so.
We have received questions pertaining to the various editions of LLATL and if/how they can be used with 3rd edition parent/student books. As we are not the authors and developers of this programme (we only print and distribute on behalf of them) so we asked them the questions and here is the answer which includes a comprehensive chart explaining the changes from 1st,2nd and 3rd editions.
Dear Sonja, I had to do a little research in order to answer your question, since we were not involved in the “business” side of things during the 1st and 2nd edition printings.  Susan Simpson, the original owner, gave me the information, although she did say this is how she remembered things!  The first edition started with the Tan Book back in 1989.  It had a card stock cover and had a plastic binding.  Other titles were added to the series over time.  In 1998, the 2nd edition was released.  These books had full color glossy covers and were perfect bound. Some other changes were more spelling instruction, review quizzes for each lesson , and assessments tests as well as some major rewrites in some of the books. During this period Student Books were also made available.  With the changes in technology over the next 20 years, we decided that it was time to update the books. So in 2018 we released the 3rd edition with new covers.
What changes have been made in the 3rd editions?
The following chart illustrates the changes made in the 3rd edition of the series:
