In the early days of pioneering home education (Homeschooling), I used to get lots of questions from Moms asking me how it was actually possible, from a time point of view, and you know the many physical and practical questions that come to one’s mind.
So I decided to put together a little diary called “A Learning Lifestyle Diary”. I put an account of each day, of how I went about this learning lifestyle of educating my children at home while dealing with hospital admissions, international guests coming, running Oikos Family Ministries. How was this all possible?
So, I just simply put Day 1, one day at a time, and I wrote about what was actually practically going on in my day. And what has been the result of this is that Moms read through this little 30 day journal and they see it’s actually practically possible that learning at home doesn’t have to be a stressful approach of trying to fit it all in and how to fit it all together. It’s a different lifestyle altogether than taking your children to school. And it’s a complete mind shift as you may already have discovered, or still learning to discover.
People have found this little diary to be helpful to help them to make that transition across to different thinking regarding how to actually manage on a practical level in their learning lifestyle at home.

This is a personal daily journal of a month in the life of my family. So many families asked me: “How do you do it?” They wanted to know how much time I spent home educating (Homeschooling) my children. I replied: “As much time as I spend being a parent!” The best way that I could share how this is possible, was to write a daily journal of a month in my life.
Thanks to the advent of the technological age, it is now in audiobook format.
